Let’s Talk Benches
Inspired by the amazing work of the Chattanooga Urbanist Society (Instagram) and Art For All Peoples, we began building and deploying benches at bus stops in February 2023. Learn more about this project in the Chattanooga Times Free Press here.
Where should bus shelters and benches be deployed first? Wherever there is a need for any single person to rest, there should be infrastructure to support them. But with resource/time constraints, prioritization plans can help. That’s why we built this map.
